70 000 tickets have been sold and reserved to Lahti 2017 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships! The most popular days have been Saturday the 25th February and the second week from Thursday to Saturday. In addition, already a half of the targeted VIP ticket sales has been reached.
The biggest demand is still for the best seats in grand stands and because of that, the grand stands are already fully booked on most popular days. In addition to exciting competition programme, Lahti 2017 offers a variety of entertainment for the whole family.
- The start of the World Cup season has accelerated the interest both on consumer and company sales. Finland’s 100th anniversary, the scale of the event and internationality are clearly attractive also outside the normal sport fan group, explains the Sales Director Mikko Saarinen.
The competition events and the whole side programme is included in the same ticket price. The ticket prices for adults start from 31,50€, under 7-year-old children are allowed to the area free of charge, 7-16-year-olds get area ticket at half price and pay 10€ less for other tickets. Pensioners, unemployed and servicemen get a 10€ discount from all ticket types.
About 15% from all event visitors are estimated to come from outside Finland. The biggest demand for tickets is from Norway. International visitors are accommodated in private housing, in Lahti region and in Helsinki.

The Centenary Championships offer six different and atmospheric VIP experiences from Forest VIP to President Club. Over 7 000 VIP tickets are already sold and reserved and most popular VIP packages are already sold out on most days.
