100 000 tickets sold and reserved

100 000 tickets have been sold and reserved for the Lahti2017 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. The most popular days are Saturday 25th and Thursday 2nd of March. All VIP tickets for the said Thursday are already sold out.

The first World Championship weekend has been selling well. The Victory Line grand stands are almost sold out on both days.

- Christmas sales and Finnish success, especially in Cross-Country skiing, have boosted the ticket sales to a new level. Best seats have been the most demanded ones, so if one wants to see how the plot unravels at the stadium – hurry up, tells Sales director Mikko Saarinen.

- All in all, the ticket sales are proceeding according to our aims and it is following the schedule based on our customer surveys, Saarinen continues.

Tickets to Lahti2017 World Championships are always day tickets which include the whole competition programme and other entertainment like afterski concerts at the Festival Arena and versatile programme designed for families with children.

Thursdays attract customers seeking VIP experiences

Altogether 11 500 VIP tickets have been sold to World Championships. The most popular days have been both Thursdays – the latter, Thursday of Stars on 2nd of March has already been sold out. Seven different VIP areas with themes and programme are tending VIP customers during Lahti2017. The range varies from prestigious President Club to a more relaxed Forest VIP.

Fazer Food Services and the Culinary Olympics winner Fazer Culinary Team of Finland is in charge of VIP food services in the Centenary Championships.

A ticket to World Championships includes always the whole competition programme and other events in the area. The most affordable adults’ ticket is 32 euros. Under 7-year-olds have admission free of charge, children aged between 7 and 16 pay half the price for track and slope ticket and get 10€ discount of other ticket types. Pensioners and servicemen are entitled to 10€ discount of all ticket types.
